Lia McHugh Said On Playing Sprite in Marvel’s Eternals 

In multiple interviews with Screen Rant, Schon! Magazine and Teen Vogue, Lia spoke about the complexities of her role as Sprite. The role was ancient and immortal who was trapped in the body of a child. She said- 

She shared with Schön!“ Sprite is over 7,000 years old but still looks like a kid. That was challenging for me to channel, but I connected with the idea of feeling older than your age.” 

In order to prepare for the role, she learned lines in ancient Babylonian. Further, she worked closely with director Chloe Zhao to get the natural emotions to this great character. 

On the red carpet and in a joint interview with Kit Harginton, she revealed that filming in London for Eternals helped her to build close bonds with her co-stars. 

In her Teen Vogue chat, she recalled the excitement of being the youngest among legendary stars. She even said everyone on the set made her comfortable.
